Job summary

MaineHealth in Belfast, ME is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a part-time day shift. You will perform routine ultrasound procedures under supervision, following established protocols and ARDMS guidelines.

Requirements include graduation from an approved sonography program, ARDMS certification with physics, and current BLS or ability to obtain within 30 days. No experience is required, though six months in diagnostic ultrasound is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• ARDMS certification required; Physics registry completed.
• Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Graduate of an approved school of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience
• License/Certifications: Current American Registry of Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification required. Must have completed the required Physics registry. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: No experience necessary; six months of Diagnostic ultrasound experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $37.09to $50.17 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
