Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer II in New Hampshire. The role involves performing moderate complexity cardiac ultrasound exams with independence and the ability to identify abnormal findings. TEE and stress echocardiograms are part of the duties.

Applicants should have graduated from an approved sonography program, hold ARDMS or CCI certification, and possess a BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days). Minimum one year of experience is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience as a Cardiac Sonographer.
• ARDMS or CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography required.
• BLS certification required, or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Minimum one year of Cardiac ultrasound experience.
• Performs TEE and/or stress Echocardiograms.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
• License/Certifications: ARDMS or CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography required. BLS certification required, or must be obtained within 30 days of start date..
• Experience: Minimum one year of Cardiac ultrasound experience required.
• Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Performs TEE and/or stress Echocardiograms.

The pay range for this position is $40.06to $54.20 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
