Job summary

PPG Industries is seeking a Territory Manager to develop and grow the Dallas/Ft Worth territory. You will provide market data to support business targets and influence end customers and senior levels. You will report to the Sr.

Regional Sales Manager and drive sales of paint systems through distribution channels. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in consultative sales, and automotive refinish exposure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years track record in growing sales with consultative selling.
• Automotive Refinish industry exposure is preferred.
• Willingness to travel within territory; 25% overnight travel.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle meeting policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales plans and drive growth while controlling costs and receivables.
• Understand end customer requirements and align with PPG strategy for the region.
• Sell paint systems and sundry items through distribution channels.
• Manage distributor relationships, training, and receivables.
• Leverage analytics to optimize profitability, cycle time, and operations.
• Develop relationships with dealers, MSO, and independent collision centers.
• Collaborate with team to expand market share and opportunities.
• Utilize PPG Fixed and Variable Rate program for vehicle-related expenses.
