Job summary

PPG Industries, Inc is seeking a Territory Manager to develop and grow the Dallas/Ft Worth territory, delivering sales and service targets aligned with regional objectives. You will cultivate end-user and channel relationships and report to the Sr. Regional Sales Manager.

The role requires 5+ years of consultative selling, automotive refinishing experience, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel up to 25% to service key dealers and collision centers within the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years track record in growing sales with validated skills at consultative selling
• Prior Automotive Refinish or equivalent experience
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory; Overnight travel ~25%
• Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain automobile insurance, have access to a personal vehicle meeting FAVR requirements, and pass MVR review

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales plans for growth and main goals within targets
• Develop understanding of end customer requirements and PPG strategy
• Sell paint systems and sundry items of PPG Refinish brands through distribution
• Manage distributor relationships including sales, development, and receivables
• Understand body shop/fleet operations and assist in profitability, cycle time, and analytics
• Target and develop relationships with main dealer, Regional MSO, and independent collision centers
• Work in a team to develop the market and maximize potential
• Utilize PPG's FAVR program to drive your own vehicle with tax-advantaged reimbursements
