Job summary

PPG Industries, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Territory Sales Manager to lead Automotive Refinish sales in Arkansas and Oklahoma and report to the Regional Manager.

You will drive regional targets while delivering business value and following the corporate refinish plan. You will build field strategies, support customer trials, and develop opportunities with the regional team to increase market share and optimize product application knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent with 2+ years proven track record in growing sales with validated skills at consultative selling.
• Prior Automotive Refinish or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Help ensure that PPG meets EH&S regulations by following guidelines and procedures of safe work practices and educating customers on the safe use of all PPG products.
• Attend field trials with the Business Development Manager and demonstrate the correct application of relevant products.
• Sales Performance: improve the financial performance of region by developing short- and medium-term business strategies consistent with the regional business plan.
• Increase Market Share: Develop our business opportunities for the Region.
• To maintain a comprehensive technical and practical knowledge of application techniques and equipment relevant to the total PPG refinish and competitor product ranges.
• Collection of samples and information from customer to allow problem analysis.
• Identify opportunities for new products, improved technical support, and better value delivery at the customer and help develop these opportunities together with the regional Team.
