Job summary

Boeing Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems seeks DFT Engineers — ASIC Backend to join the Electronic Products team in El Segundo, CA, or Huntington Beach, CA. The role covers design, verification and post-silicon validation of test access mechanisms and related infrastructure.

We seek candidates across experience levels to design, validate and integrate DFT features within the chip design flow while collaborating with internal teams and external partners. Onsite requirement applies.

Qualifications

• This position requires a US Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in Design for Testability (DFT) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of ASIC/logic design flow, HDL, STA, and ECO processes.
• Hands-on with TAP/JTAG, IJTAG, Boundary Scan, MBIST, scan compression, ATPG, and silicon debug.
• Proficiency in scripting and DFT verification methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement DFT architectures: TAP/JTAG, IJTAG, BSCAN, MBIST, and scan compression
• Develop and validate TAP/JTAG and IJTAG infrastructures, BSDL/ICL/PDL artifacts, and ATPG pattern generation
• Drive pattern generation, coverage optimization, memory test validation, and silicon debugging
• Integrate DFT features across the chip design flow and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Coordinate with external partners on custom DFT interfaces and security requirements
• Contribute to development and deployment of DFT methodologies for next-generation products
• Occasional travel and after-hours meetings during critical milestones
