Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Tulsa, OK to advance the engineering and simulation stack. You will help build target‑state infrastructure, automate deployment pipelines, and ensure reliable service delivery across on‑prem and cloud environments.

You will work with IaC tooling, CI/CD platforms, and monitoring to improve uptime, security, and performance. The role emphasizes collaboration, documentation, and mentoring junior engineers within a DevSecOps culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience.
• 3–5 years in Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Experience deploying production workloads in cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on‑prem.
• Mastery of Terraform and configuration management for IaC.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability and high uptime across systems and services.
• Write modular IaC configurations for scalable environments.
• Design, monitor, and optimize application performance and service quality.
• Lead initial production troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Streamline SDLC, remove bottlenecks, and automate workflows.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to automate processes.
• Promote DevSecOps practices and automated security in pipelines.
• Document architecture, design decisions, and deployment procedures.
