Job summary

FlightSafety International seeks a DevOps Engineer to support architecture and engineering for simulation and training platforms. You will drive IaC, CI/CD, and secure deployment pipelines across on‑prem and cloud environments, ensuring high uptime and reliability.

Responsibilities include improving SDLC, automating cross‑functional workflows, and mentoring junior engineers while collaborating with diverse teams to deliver reliable, scalable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• New graduate - 2 years in Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Hands-on experience with production workloads in on‑prem or cloud environments.
• Mastery of IaC tools (e.g., Terraform) and configuration management.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines.
• Experience managing containerized apps with Docker/Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high uptime, robust performance, and consistent service delivery.
• Write modular IaC configurations for on‑prem or cloud environments.
• Design, monitor, and manage application performance to catch anomalies.
• Lead initial troubleshooting and resolve complex production issues.
• Collaborate with development, operations, QA, and security to automate workflows.
• Prepare design, architecture, and implementation documentation for stakeholders.
• Mentor junior DevOps and infrastructure engineers to grow skills.
