Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a DevOps Engineer to actively support architecture and engineering activities across data center, cloud, and immersive engineering solutions. The role emphasizes automated workflows, DevSecOps practices, and mentoring engineers to advance the org's architectural goals.

You will be responsible for reliability, IaC, observability, and incident response within a fast-paced environment, with the ability to travel when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent industry experience.
• 6–8 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Hands-on experience architecting production workloads in on Prem or cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Mastery of Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform) and configuration management.
• Deep understanding of modern CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high uptime and robust performance across systems.
• Write modular, version-controlled IaC for scalable on Prem or cloud environments (CI/CD, Docker, Terraform).
• Design, monitor, and manage application performance and service quality.
• Lead initial production troubleshooting and root-cause analysis to improve service health.
• Automate workflows with cross-functional teams to reduce manual operations.
• Prepare and present design, architecture, and implementation documentation.
