Job summary

Enlighten is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team in Fort Meade, MD. You will implement infrastructure, automate deployment processes, and ensure monitoring, reliability, and scalability of services.

The role requires strong Kubernetes/Container Orchestration, configuration management, CI/CD, and AWS experience, plus scripting in Python and Bash. This onsite position supports customer operations and involves mentoring junior staff as part of

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance required.
• US citizenship is required.
• 9+ years of DevOps or Software Development experience with a related bachelor’s; or 7+ years with a master’s; or 13+ years with a HS diploma.

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS, especially EKS.
• Support development and deployment of non-cloud (Edge) infrastructure of on-premise and portable equipment.
• Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability of services.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and resolve issues as necessary.
• Continuously improve processes and tools to ensure high availability and performance.
• Stay current with new technologies and industry trends, exploring new ways to improve our infrastructure.
• Mentor and provide team leadership as part of senior-level impact.
• Other duties as assigned.
