Job summary

ViaQuest is seeking a Direct Support Professional Team Lead to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes in Mount Vernon, OH. Training for this role is provided in full, so no prior experience is required; experience is preferred and welcomed.

As part of the team, you will lead DSP activities, supervise and teach individuals in daily life while ensuring health and safety. A variety of flexible schedules and comprehensive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• At least 1 year experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Fewer than 6 points on your last two years of motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.

At ViaQuest, our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required! Experience is preferred!
