Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services seeks Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with developmental disabilities in facilities and homes. Training is provided in full, so no prior experience is required.

The role includes caregiving duties, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe living environment in a compassionate team setting. Benefits for full-time staff include medical, vision, dental, disability and life insurance, a 401k, paid time off, annual raises, and flexible schedules.

• Paid training including CPR, First Aid and Medication Administration courses and certifications.
• Personal, reliable vehicle that you're willing and able to use to transport individuals served.
• Valid OH driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.

Direct Support Professional
A Great Opportunity/ $17.30-$18.30 per hour

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in intermediate care facilities and their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety, so no experience is required.
