Job summary

ViaQuest is seeking a Direct Support Professional Team Lead in Ohio for full-time work. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of $18.75–$19.75 and comprehensive paid training, with no experience required.

You will support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes, promoting independence, safety and quality of life. Care coordination includes supervising and teaching clients, meal prep, and maintaining a clean living environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• At least 1 year experience is preferred.
• COVID Vaccine (Religious/Medical exemption accepted).
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license and car insurance.
• Fewer than 6 points in the last two years on your motor vehicle record.
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities — our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Providing personal care assistance.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Team Lead
