Job summary

Associa is hiring a Community Association Manager (II) in Raleigh to lead Developer Services for new and transitioning communities. You will partner with homebuilders, manage developer-driven boards, and align business goals with governing documents and fiduciary duties.

The role includes heavy stakeholder coordination and site visits. You will guide transitions from developer control to HRW management, oversee meetings, and prepare financial and governance materials for boards and homeowners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HOA/condominium land and builder development experience.
• Experience working with developer-controlled associations and turnovers.
• Ability to build relationships within homebuilding and development communities.
• Knowledge of governing docs, budgets, vendor management, and board governance.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Raleigh market.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager for HRW's developer and homebuilder clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with developers, builders, land development teams, attorneys, engineers, and other partners.
• Understand each developer's construction schedule, sales pace, phasing, amenities, and turnover timeline.
• Conduct regular meetings to review financial performance, homeowner concerns, and milestones.
• Act as a resource for developers creating new associations or expanding existing ones.
• Identify opportunities to grow HRW's Developer Services portfolio and work with Business Development on proposals.
• Lead developer board meetings, annual meetings, homeowner meetings, and transition meetings.
• Prepare board packages, management reports, financial summaries, and operational recommendations.
• Provide guidance on governing documents, policies, and architectural standards.
• Coordinate with counsel, insurers, accountants, and engineers as needed.
• Oversee homeowner communications, transition processes, and documentation maintenance.
• Develop and execute transition plans for communities from declarant to HRW management.
