Job summary

Associa, based in Charleston, SC, is seeking a Community Association Manager to oversee a portfolio of HOAs. You will lead financial planning, reporting, and vendor coordination to support thriving communities. Strong relationship-building and tech-savviness are essential.

You will manage budgets, attend board meetings, and work with committees to drive continuous improvements while ensuring daily operations run smoothly.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of HOA management experience (strongly preferred).
• CAI designation(s) strongly preferred.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain open and proactive communication with the board of directors and homeowners.
• Guide the board in making informed financial decisions, including budgets.
• Analyze monthly financial reports and create variance reports for transparency.
• Generate and present monthly management reports to the board.
• Coordinate and oversee maintenance projects with vendors and contractors.
• Oversee daily operations of the community to ensure efficiency.
• Attend board and internal meetings, and supervise staff when applicable.
• Develop and recommend annual operating budgets and mid-year forecasts with HOA committees.
• Engage with HOA committees (Finance, ARC, Infrastructure, Landscaping, Marine, Security) to drive excellence.
• Ensure emergency preparedness and storm management protocols.
