Job summary

William Douglas Management in Raleigh, NC is seeking a motivated Community Manager to independently oversee a portfolio of communities, building strong relationships with boards, homeowners, and vendors. This role reports to the Regional Manager and requires proactive problem-solving and excellent communication.

You will manage inspections, budgeting support, and meeting coordination, including evening sessions, while ensuring client satisfaction and timely updates.

Qualifications

• Previous client-facing customer-service experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple communities, projects, and deadlines.
• Proactive, adaptable, independent problem-solver in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and understand financial statements and assist with budgeting.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional relationships with Board members, homeowners, vendors, and contractors.
• Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of homeowner associations.
• Conduct inspections of common areas and amenities; identify needs.
• Assist Boards with rule enforcement and homeowner communications.
• Coordinate vendors and contractors, including follow-up on service needs.
• Help Boards review financial statements, prepare budgets, and monitor finances.
• Organize and lead Board meetings, annual meetings, elections, and events.
• Prepare meeting materials, reports, and correspondence.
• Attend occasional evening meetings, in person or virtually.
• Balance multiple priorities while delivering high-quality customer service.
