Job summary

Lukos is seeking a dedicated Social Work / Custody and Removal Coordinator in Pompano Beach, FL to support ICE detainees and facilities. You will assist with detainee requests, coordinate communications, and ensure compliance with detention standards while leveraging trauma-informed practices and multilingual communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social work, Psychology, or an equivalent degree.
• Master’s degree preferred but not required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Assist with detainee needs and complaints using ICE forms.
• Coordinate parent/child communication and child welfare involvement.
• Provide disability accommodations coordination and follow-up with detention facilities.
• Support ERO/ detention staff to ensure compliance with policies and detention standards.
• Meet newly detained noncitizens to answer questions and orient them to CRC services.
• Develop and maintain a national resource database for CRC/ERO use.
