Job summary

Lukos LLC seeks a Social Worker/Custody and Removal Coordinator in Folkston, GA to support ERO Field Office and detention staff in maintaining a safe environment and providing services to the ICE detainee population. Requires a Bachelor’s in Social Work or Psychology, with Master’s preferred, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Two years’ experience with victims or vulnerable populations and experience in multi-cultural settings are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent.
• Master's degree or equivalent advanced degree preferred but not required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Assist detained noncitizens with ICE Detainee Request Forms or other needs.
• Assist ERO officers with parent/child communications and child welfare.
• Coordinate disability accommodations with detention facilities upon request by ERO HQ.
• Facilitate discussions on allegations of sexual abuse/assault, pregnancy, housing, and release.
• Provide language interpretation and referrals for medical and mental health care.
