Job summary

Lukos seeks a Custody and Resource Coordinator in San Diego, CA to assist ICE Field Office and detention facility staff in maintaining a safe detention environment and to provide support on issues affecting detained individuals, including trauma, medical and mental health care.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in social work or psychology, bilingual English/Spanish, and experience with victims or detainees; duties include handling detainee requests, coordinating accommodations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree must be in Social work, Psychology, or an equivalent degree.
• Master’s degree preferred but not required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and oral.
• Experience working with victims or detainees is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist detainee requests and complaints using ICE forms.
• Support parent/child communication and child welfare involvement.
• Coordinate disability accommodations with detention facilities.
• Provide language interpretation for detained individuals.
• Develop and maintain a national resource database for CRC and ERO.
• Conduct wellness checks and follow-ups as requested.
