Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in accounts payable or related financial roles.
• Familiarity with GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience supporting month-end closing activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to organize and prioritize a high volume of invoices and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and within deadlines.
• Perform two-way and three-way matching of invoices, PO, and receiving documentation.
• Assign general ledger codes, cost centers, and project information.
• Verify invoices for accuracy and proper documentation.
• Enter invoices into the accounting system and maintain AP records.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries.
• Support weekly payment processing (checks, ACH).
• Assist month-end closing activities and account reconciliations.
• Ensure AP transactions comply with GAAP and internal controls.
• Support audits with required documentation.
