Job summary

Sunbelt Modular, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to support accurate financial operations. You will review and process vendor invoices, post data, and coordinate with Purchasing to resolve discrepancies.

This role supports month-end and year-end activities and helps maintain confidential AP records. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of AP experience, proficiency in Excel and Outlook, and familiarity with ERP systems, specifically SAGE 100.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of accounts payable experience.
• Experience processing invoices, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
• Familiarity with SAGE 100 ERP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and AP processes.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify vendor invoices against purchase orders and receipts.
• Prepare and post batches; data entry.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Manage weekly check run and issue vendor payments.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and confidentiality.
• Reconcile statements and research discrepancies.
• Assist with year-end close and audits.
• Assist Accounting Manager and admin staff.
• Maintain accurate AP records and vendor information.
• Uphold security of AP files.
