Pyramid Consulting, Inc. has an immediate need for a Desktop Technician III in Baltimore, MD onsite on a 06+ months contract. The role involves software/hardware life cycle support, new user setup, and assisting employees with desktop issues.

Required are 5-7 years in desktop support, Windows OS knowledge, desktop installation/configuration, and mobility device troubleshooting. An Associate's degree in a technical field is required. Onsite work with potential for long-term opportunities.

• Provide off-hours support as needed

Pay Range: $30 - $34/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the software and hardware life cycle management processes, including research, packaging, quality assurance, and deployment preparation
• Set up new users, including desktop configuration, email accounts, LDAP accounts, and VPN accounts
• Support employees, both local and remote, with desktop issues, account issues, and access to various internal services
• Troubleshoot software issues on employees' desktops/laptops
• Provide off-hours support as needed

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 5-7 years experience in desktop support
• Knowledge of Windows OS
• Experience with desktop installation and configuration
• Experience troubleshooting desktop issues as well as mobile devices
• Associate's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field required
