Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking candidates to join a local Brook Park, OH client IT Desktop Support team on a Contract to Hire basis. The role focuses on diagnosing hardware and software issues, deploying Windows 10/11, imaging Windows 11, and providing strong user support in a fully onsite environment.

Ideal candidates have prior helpdesk or desktop support experience, IT certifications are desirable, and the position offers a tiered pay range with benefits for a full-time onset role.

Qualifications

• Previous Helpdesk or Desktop Support or PC Technician experience is preferred.
• IT certifications are desirable for this role.
• This is a first shift Contract to Hire opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents on Windows and Mac.
• Swapping out laptops/desktops and deploying Windows 10/11.
• Imaging Windows 11 onto machines from Windows 10.
• Assist users with logged IT incidents and maintain ticket records.
• Record and document requests in the IT service desk system.
