One of TEKsystems' clients is looking for multiple qualified candidates to support their IT department's Desktop Support team.

This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a local enterprise company and grow your skills within IT Support, with potential career advancement.

Previous Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or PC Technician experience is preferred. IT certifications are desirable for this role. This will be a first shift, contract-to-hire position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range is $19.00 - $24.00/hr, negotiable based on experience.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Whitehall, MI.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems (Windows and Mac) and software applications.
2. Swap out laptops/desktops and deploy Windows 10/11.
3. Re-image Windows 11 onto machines from Windows 10.
4. Assist users with IT-related incidents.
5. Take ownership of issues, perform problem analysis, and implement fixes, escalating where necessary.
6. Record, update, and document requests using the IT service desk system.
7. Install and configure new IT equipment.
8. Resolve incidents and upgrade software and hardware.
9. Resolve issues with printers, copiers, and scanners.
10. Maintain high-quality customer service.
