Job summary
TEKsystems is partnering with a leading global manufacturer to recruit a Desktop Support Technician for their Innovation Center in Anderson, SC. You will join a 7-person team delivering deskside and help desk support to 1,000-2,000 users in a fast-paced enterprise setting.
The role requires strong macOS troubleshooting skills, Windows 10/11 and Office 365 familiarity, and a customer-focused mindset. This is a contract-to-hire, on-site opportunity with a daytime schedule and potential for growth
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of corporate IT support experience
- Experience supporting 1,000-2,000+ users
- Mix of deskside and help desk support
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across Windows and macOS devices
- Perform device imaging, builds, deployments, and workstation setups
- Provide on-site deskside support for break/fix and configuration needs
- Manage tickets through ServiceNow or similar ITSM systems
- Support both on-site corporate users and remote field staff
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, communication, and customer service
