TEKsystems seeks a Desktop Support Specialist for the Edenton, NC area to support the Client Services Operations team. Travel is required locally; mileage is reimbursed at 70 cents per mile. The role involves incident handling, hardware imaging, software support, and printers, with strong emphasis on customer service.

Expected 7 years of relevant experience and proficiency with Windows 10, imaging, deployment, and ServiceNow. This is a contract onsite position in Edenton, NC.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on hardware, software, peripherals and networking experience.
• Imaging and deployment of new computers and software.
• Printer setup and configuration for local and network printers.
• Data migration and user profile handling during device refresh.
• Documenting processes for technical field support activities.
• Proficient with ServiceNow ticketing system.

Responsibilities

• Assist Client Services Operations with high volume service desk requests.
• Install images and software on new computers and load drivers.
• Deploy business applications and configure printers and peripherals.
• Migrate user data and profiles during device replacement.
• Provide status updates to customers and internal teams.
