Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Support Technician in Scottsdale to provide tier 2 end-user support across the enterprise. The role involves onsite and remote support via Dameware for laptops and desktops, with emphasis on customer service and uptime.

Responsibilities include imaging, hardware/software upgrades, and Active Directory user builds, data transfers, and device configurations for a large corporate environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in IT end-user support.
• Experience building PCs, installing Windows, and imaging.
• Experience with user builds (backups, imaging, configurations, deployments).

Responsibilities

• Provide tier 2 desktop support for laptops and desktops onsite.
• Imaging, hardware/software upgrades, and machine configurations.
• Create and deploy AD user builds and data transfers.
• Coordinate with the service desk and teams to resolve issues.

Job description

Rate: $20-24/hour

Required Skills & Experience

• 1+ year of experience working within an IT End User Support environment
• Experience with or exposure to building PCs, installing Windows, and imaging
• Experience with user builds (data backups, imaging, configurations, application deployments, etc.)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of MS Office Product Suite including 2013, and Windows 10 Operating System support and troubleshooting
• MAC experience
• Shipping and Receiving (hardware) experience (creating labels from ticketing systems)
• Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow Preferred)
• Experience with break fix and troubleshooting for desktops, printers, and VPN/connectivity
