Job summary

TEKsystems in Gulfport, MS seeks an experienced Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for end users in a Microsoft-based environment. You will handle hardware and software support, deployments, troubleshooting, user training, and small IT projects.

You should have strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to support employees at all levels of the organization. This is a fully onsite contract role based in Gulfport, MS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of desktop or IT support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Experience with PC hardware deployment, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, OS, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
• Deploy, configure, and support desktops, laptops, and related technology equipment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and share best practices.
• Document incidents, service requests, and solutions in the ticketing system.
