Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Computer Equipment Support Operations II to support our government client at Ft. Eustis, Virginia. The role focuses on desktop support, ticketing via Remedy, and Tier II service at the on-site service desk.

Requirements include DoD 8140.01 certifications, an Associate’s Degree or higher in IT (preferred), and Windows 10 certification within six months. U.S. citizenship and a Secret clearance are mandatory.

Qualifications

• DoD 8140.01 certification requirements (Security+, CND, GICSP, CASP+ or CCNP Security, CISA, or SSCP).
• Windows 10 certification within six months of employment.
• Six months IT-related experience; one year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop support services and respond to and resolve service requests.
• Enter tasks into Remedy to create tickets with work descriptions.
• Operate the Service Desk with Tier II support and provide on-site services for walk-ins.
• Manage Remedy accounts and coordinate with the customer to resolve requests.
• Provide problem resolution across hardware, software, and network infrastructure including remote access and installations.
• Analyze and maintain local network components, software, peripherals, and data processing equipment.
• Provide and implement solutions for reported problems on equipment/networks.
• Perform on-site monitoring of system workload, hardware installation, configuration, and operation.
