Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Computer Equipment Support Operations II to support our government customer at Fort Eustis, Virginia. The role covers desktop support, ticketing in Remedy, on-site service, and coordination with the customer to resolve requests.

Qualifications include DoD 8140.01 certifications, an Associate’s degree or higher preferred, and Windows 10 certification within six months. U.S. citizenship and a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Six months IT experience required, one year preferred in computer equipment support operations.
• Must have DoD 8140.01 certification requirements (e.g., Security+, CND, GICSP, CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, SSCP).
• Windows 10 certification due within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop support and resolve service requests for the government customer.
• Enter tasks into Remedy to create tickets describing work to be performed.
• Operate the Service Desk with Tier II systems support and on-site inquiries.
• Manage Remedy accounts and coordinate with the customer to resolve work.
• Provide problem resolution including hardware, software, network, remote access, and databases.
• Analyze and maintain local network components, software, peripherals, and data processing equipment.
• Provide and implement solutions to reported problems on equipment and networks.
• Perform on-site monitoring of systems workload and hardware installation/configuration.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
