Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Computer Systems Administrator to support a government customer at Ft. Detrick, Maryland. The role focuses on IM/IT systems administration, IA, RMF compliance, and field/testing support across CONUS/OCONUS.

Key duties include maintaining networks, telephony, asset management, and coordinating with DoD partners. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and CISSP/IAM II; 6–10 years of experience and US citizenship with a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• CISSP or IAM Level II certification required.
• 6–10 years of cumulative full-time IM/IT systems admin/security experience.
• Willing to travel CONUS/OCONUS, including international locations.
• U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance.
• Ability to lift 60–80 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and ensure day-to-day compliance of IM/IT resources.
• Administer two local area networks.
• Manage day-to-day telephony operations including secure phones.
• Serve as alternate classified document custodian.
• Install and maintain video monitoring and gate access systems.
• Coordinate with AFMEDCOM/DHA for IM/IT support.
• Oversee IM/IT voice and data security and IA.
• Ensure DoD RMF and IA policies are followed.
• Review NEC billing for accuracy.
• Coordinate with NEC staff for services.
• Prepare IM/IT test assets and conduct testing.
• Potential field testing across CONUS/OCONUS.
• Recommend improvements for IM/IT resources.
• Identify capability gaps and justify upgrades.
• Provide minor IM/IT repair and upgrades.
• Track and inventory IM/IT assets.
• Support IT programs for AV, libraries, printing, databases, networks, links to GIG.
• Suggest process/policy updates to leadership.
• Participate in ITTs ensuring testability and plans.
• Assist test directors with planning, costing, data collection and reporting.
• Support field site logistics (lifting 60-80 lbs).
• Ad-hoc travel as required (CONUS/OCONUS).
• Other duties as assigned.
