Job summary

The Desktop Technician role at Brite in New York is responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading desktop hardware to ensure optimal workstation performance. Troubleshooting is performed both remotely and in person to support end-users.

You will work with Customer Success to deliver exceptional service within SLA timelines, assist with onboarding and asset inventory, and contribute to deployment process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field with 1–2 years’ relevant experience.
• CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and end-user support skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network issues.
• Provide end-user assistance both remotely and in person.
• Install, maintain, and upgrade desktop hardware and equipment.
• Work closely with Customer Success Representatives to ensure the best customer experience within the SLA.
• Respond to service requests within required response times.
• Assist end users with installation of applications and peripherals.
• Assist in onboarding new employees.
• Maintain customer asset inventory.
• Continuous improvement of deployment processes.
• Assist with RMA process as required.
