Job summary
Spectraforce Technologies in New York, NY is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer for a 6-month onsite engagement. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, CS or related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years desktop support/IT service desk in an enterprise Windows environment; financial services preferred.
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and endpoint security.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support via ticketing system, phone, email, chat, and in-person requests.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, OS, printing, and connectivity issues.
- Support Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint.
- Configure and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Participate in onboarding/offboarding and coordinate equipment deployment.
- Maintain workstation security updates and asset inventory.
