Job summary

Lumen Technologies is seeking an Account Manager II, Desk Based, to drive revenue growth in a remote US-based role. You will prospect, qualify, and close deals across networking, cloud, cybersecurity, and AI-related services, using consultative discovery to align solutions with customer needs.

Expect to work 8am-5pm in your time zone, with quota-driven targets and collaboration with internal experts to ensure a superior customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Four or more years of technology/ digital infrastructure sales experience.
• Proven ability to develop new business and manage customer relationships in a consultative environment.
• Experience using a CRM like Salesforce to manage opportunities and forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth across an assigned territory.
• Conduct consultative discovery to understand customer needs and map them to Lumen solutions.
• Manage the sales cycle from outreach through close with high activity and monthly quotas.
• Coordinate with internal resources to deliver compelling quotes and customer experiences.
• Maintain accurate Salesforce records and account plans, and provide regular activity reports.
