Base pay range

$191,040.00/yr - $286,560.00/yr

The Role

We are looking for an adaptive, self-motivated Design Verification Engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor, you will be part of a leading team to drive and improve AMD's abilities to deliver high-quality, industry-leading technologies. You will work with RTL, firmware, circuit, and architecture teams to develop and verify cutting-edge IPs.

The Person

You have a passion for modern, complex processor architecture and ASIC/SoC verification. You are a team player with excellent communication skills, experienced in collaborating across sites and time zones. You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, are detail-oriented, and eager to learn. You will work closely with senior silicon design and firmware engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain tests for functional verification.
• Build directed and random verification tests, debug failures, and work with RTL and firmware engineers to resolve design issues.
• Work on functional and code coverage verification.
• Provide technical support to other teams.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, and UVM verification libraries.
• Experience with C/C++.
• Strong ASIC verification experience.
• Background with DDR or Memory Controller; PHY verification is a plus.
• Scripting experience with Python, Perl, or TCL is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate with architects, hardware, and firmware engineers to understand new features.
• Proficient in debugging firmware and RTL code using simulation tools.

Academic Credentials

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
