Job summary

Crate & Barrel is seeking an Assistant Store Leader – Design & Trade to drive business growth through leadership, exceptional client experiences, and elevated design services.

You will oversee design services and trade, develop strategies, and hire, train, and coach a high-performing designer team to deliver timely, SLA-driven design deliverables and a consistent brand experience for every client.

Qualifications

• 2+ years customer service or retail leadership experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Google applications, computer systems and tablet devices.
• Full-Time roles: Open availability to work flexible hours on weekdays, evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Manage workload and execute plans across the store and in assigned area.
• Align with the management team on store business goals and initiatives for all associates.
• Establish and communicate critical metrics and expectations (sales, visual, operations, safety, loss prevention, HR, payroll/scheduling, training).
• Analyze daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting affecting sales, productivity and budgets.
• Promote and drive sales as Leader on Duty (LOD).
• Communicate with management on sales, customer feedback and associate training/performance; participate in weekly store walk-throughs.
• Collaborate with direct reports to enhance customer experience and teamwork safely and efficiently.
• Coach and develop all store associates to foster growth and build talent bench.
• Ensure customers receive gracious, quick, and efficient service with a positive attitude.
• Other duties as assigned.
