Job summary

Crate & Barrel in McLean, VA seeks a Team Leader – Design Services & Trade to guide the design desk, coach associates, and drive in-store sales and service. You will partner with the Assistant Store Leader to manage appointments, clienteling, trade initiatives, and KPI-driven performance.

You’ll lead the team, mentor staff, and ensure excellent customer experiences while promoting design services and Trade initiatives across the store.

Responsibilities

• Lead designated team and manage associate workload as determined in partnership with the Assistant Store Leader.
• Coach associates on exceptional performance and maintain a strong visible presence in the department/work area.
• Support development for the designated team to encourage professional growth.
• Provide specific and timely feedback about performance to associates and share observations with the Assistant Store Leader.
• Train and develop associates on product knowledge, selling, customer service, operations, visual, policies and procedures as applicable.
• Ensure compliance with policies including loss prevention, security and safety guidelines.
• Promote sales as they pertain to the position and act as Leader On Duty (LOD).
• Communicate regularly with the Assistant Store Leader to review business results and feedback.
