Job summary

Crate and Barrel seeks an Assistant Store Leader – Design & Trade to drive growth through strong leadership, exceptional client experiences, and elevated design services. You will oversee design services and trade operations, developing strategies and leading a designer team to deliver timely, brand-consistent experiences.

The role includes coaching, onboarding, KPI analysis, and collaboration with the Store Leader to meet sales goals while ensuring outstanding service and operational excellence

Qualifications

• 2+ years customer service or retail leadership experience.
• Experience with design services and clienteling initiatives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and coach a designer team.
• Flexibility to work a full-time schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• In collaboration with the Store Leader, manage workload and execute store plans.
• Align store goals with company mission and initiatives.
• Establish and communicate key metrics across the store, including sales, operations, and training.
• Analyze reporting daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly to inform sales and budget decisions.
• Promote and drive sales while serving as Leader on Duty (LOD).
• Communicate with the management team on customer feedback and training needs.
• Coach and develop associates to encourage growth and bench strength.
• Ensure gracious, quick, and consistent service to customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
