Job summary

Crate and Barrel is seeking an Assistant Store Leader – Design & Trade to drive growth through exceptional client experiences, elevated design services, and strong leadership. You will oversee design services, develop strategies, and lead a designer team to deliver timely, brand-consistent results.

In this role you will hire and coach staff, analyze KPIs, set goals with the store team, and ensure SLA-driven deliverables while maximizing sales and customer acquisition.

Qualifications

• 2+ years customer service or retail leadership experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Google applications, computer systems and tablet devices.
• Full-Time roles: Open availability to work flexible hours on weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design services and trade business operations and clienteling initiatives.
• Hire, train and develop a designer team through onboarding and coaching.
• Analyze KPIs and align with goals to drive sales and customer experience.
• Ensure timely, SLA-driven design deliverables and consistent brand experience.
• Lead store-wide communications and collaboration with management team.
• Model excellent service and foster teamwork across all associates.
