Job summary

Williams‑Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Design Studio Specialist to inspire customers and close sales through expert design consultations in-store and in-home. You will promote continued engagement with the Brand by delivering exceptional service and informed product recommendations.

The role emphasizes strong communication, design knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting sales and productivity goals in a full-time retail environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, clienteling and customer follow-up skills.
• 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience, (specialty retail preferred, but not required).
• Experience in working with the elements of design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in one-on-one consultations in-store and in-home to drive store sales.
• Conduct in-home consultations including measuring and assessing living spaces.
• Create and present design plans based on client needs and space.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to meet sales goals.
• Assist customers with services including gift wrap, gift registry, catalog/internet orders, special orders, back orders, charge sends, courier deliveries, and furniture orders.
• Demonstrate product knowledge of the design studio assortment.
