Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Design Studio Specialist to inspire customers and close sales at the cash wrap, delivering a seamless shopping experience. You will perform one-on-one consultations in-store and in-home, create design plans, and promote ongoing brand engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, clienteling and customer follow-up skills.
• Ability to complete and coordinate complex large orders within a variety of sales channels.
• Experience in working with the elements of design preferred.
• Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience, (specialty retail preferred, but not required)

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in one-on-one consultations in-store and in-home to drive store sales.
• Perform in-home consultations including measuring and assessing living spaces.
• Create and present design plans based on client needs and space.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to achieve sales goals.
• Assist customers with services including gift wrap, registry, orders, and deliveries.
• Demonstrate product knowledge of the design studio assortment.
