Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Design Studio Operations Manager to oversee store operations, ensure customer satisfaction, and safeguard safety and profitability. You will manage inventory, staffing, and adherence to company policies while delivering high-quality customer interactions.

The role requires adaptability to a fast-paced retail environment, strong communication, and hands-on leadership to drive performance across the design studio and associated stores.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to adapt to highly complex business model.
• Experience in recruiting, training, sales generation, operations and merchandising.
• Excellent communication, delegation, follow up and analytical skills.
• One year of operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Review daily customer orders for completion.
• Perform cycle counts daily for replenishment of samples.
• Plan and control the budget/P&L management.
• Execute shipping and receiving per company policy.
• Review reporting weekly to determine assortment changes.
• Manage customer orders including storage buys across locations.
• Collaborate with super stores and distribution centers in the market.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain studio cleanliness.
• Lead in line with company values; supervise opening/closing the store.
• Problem-solve to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Engage heavily with customers and manage store employees to meet financial goals.
• Ensure brand and operating standards meet company expectations.
