Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an experienced retail leader to drive sales budgets and deliver an exceptional customer shopping experience at our store. You will mentor staff, manage merchandising, and ensure store standards while maintaining safety and loss prevention protocols.

• Three to five years retail management experience.
• Ability to perform in a high volume, highly complex location.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter.
• Demonstrated proficiency in recruiting, hiring, and training associates.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment in managing a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to increase the company’s overall market share.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure

Responsibilities

• Drive sales budgets and deliver exceptional customer shopping experience.
• Engage customers and ensure quality service by store associates.
• Strategically merchandise and follow company guidelines for merchandising.
• Maintain store presentation standards.
• Ensure safety and loss prevention compliance.
• Support leadership in creating friendly, knowledgeable and efficient environment.
• Interact with corporate HQ and perform duties as needed.
• Analyze business reports to optimize merchandising, stock and pricing.
• Use POS and inventory systems for accurate stock and P&L management.
