Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Design Supervisor to lead the design team and drive sales through design services. You will ensure customers have a positive sales experience with expert guidance on surfaces and finishes for residential and commercial projects.

You will hire, coach, and manage a talented design staff, schedule appointments, and grow the client base through networking and referrals while maintaining brand standards and store design integrity.

Qualifications

• Design education (BA or AA) or 6 years interior design experience.
• 3–5 years leadership/management experience.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring preferred.
• Proficient in basic mathematical or numeric skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Hire and develop a dynamic design team with evaluations.
• Greet customers and support design walk-in needs.
• Schedule design appointments and grow clientele via referrals.
• Advise on tile, wood, stone and accessories for projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional, aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple projects with communication to customers and team.
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation.
• Support company initiatives and maintain design center standards.
