Job summary

Floor & Decor in Gurnee, IL is seeking a Design Supervisor responsible for training the design team and driving store sales through design services. You will greet customers, manage design appointments, and provide expert advice on tile, wood, stone, and accessories for residential and commercial projects.

The role requires a BA/AA in Interior Design or 6 years of experience, plus 3-5 years of leadership. Strong communication, math skills, and proficiency with Salesforce and the company’s design

Qualifications

• BA or AA in Interior Design or 6 years interior design experience
• 3-5 years of leadership or management experience
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring preferred
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Hire and develop a design team and conduct evaluations
• Greet customers and support walk-in design needs
• Schedule design appointments and build clientele
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessory advice for projects
• Design and sell complete functional and aesthetic solutions
• Manage multiple client projects with clear communication
• Collaborate with store leadership to achieve goals
• Support company initiatives and maintain design center standards
