Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a sales associate to drive store sales through exceptional customer service and product knowledge. You will promote the Design program and collaborate with a Designer to reach goals while following the La-Z-Boy selling process.

Training pays $16/hour for 2-6 weeks, after which base pay is $13/hour plus uncapped commissions. Average earnings range from $45,000 to $65,000+ annually, depending on location and performance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service skills, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills; ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales by selling furniture, accessories, and services.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to hit sales goals.
• Follow the La-Z-Boy selling process to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Schedule professional home consultations for customized room designs.
• Maintain knowledge of product lines and company standards.
