Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is hiring to join a dynamic retail team. You will drive sales of furniture and design services, delivering exceptional customer experiences through the La-Z-Boy selling process and product knowledge.

Training pays for 2–6 weeks with a base hourly wage, followed by uncapped commissions and a strong earning potential. Average annual earnings range from $35,000 to $55,000+ including base, bonus, and commission, with a starting base pay of $13/hour after training and $16/hour

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate, build rapport, and positively influence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Drives sales by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to meet sales goals.
• Execute the La-Z-Boy selling process and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Develop sales skills from approach to closing and follow-up with customers.
• Maximize promotions, marketing initiatives and store programs.
• Maintain knowledge of product lines and design options.
