Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Sales Associate to drive in-store sales with exceptional customer service and deep knowledge of La-Z-Boy products and design services.

The role includes training pay during onboarding, a base hourly rate, and uncapped commissions with performance bonuses. You will build long-term customer relationships and assist in presenting customized room designs through the Design program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service skills, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, build rapport, and positively influence.
• Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work the schedule and hours dictated by business needs.

Responsibilities

• Drives sales and contributes to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve design sales goals.
• Consistently execute the La-Z-Boy selling process to provide a positive customer experience.
• Develop and utilize sales skills including needs discovery, presentations, objections handling and closing.
• Provide support by being responsive to inquiries and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
