Job summary

Crate & Barrel is seeking a Design professional to help customers plan and design their spaces, providing elevated design offerings in-store and virtually. You will lead one-on-one design consultations, create moodboards and floor plans, and deliver projects on time while aligning with CB2 aesthetics and merchandising strategies.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in furniture/home decor design or retail, strong communication, and proficiency with design tools and Google platforms.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience in Furniture Sales/ Home Decor Design or retail.
• Proficient in Google platforms, virtual communication, design tool experience preferred.
• Excellent, effective, and timely communication with customers.
• Ability to translate the brand vision of CB2 into design recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by delivering elevated in-store and virtual design experiences.
• Create moodboards, 2D floor plans, product lists and style inspirations.
• Lead one-on-one design consultations in person or via email, phone, and virtual.
• Understand CB2 brand aesthetics and merchandising strategy by channel.
• Deliver sales, KPI and service goals while following the four steps of selling.
• Stay informed on marketplace and industry trends.
