Job summary

CB2 is seeking a Designer to help customers plan and design spaces, delivering elevated CB2 experiences in-store, at home, and virtually. You will create moodboards, 2D floor plans, product lists and style inspiration, while leading one-on-one consultations to close projects on time.

You will align with CB2 brand aesthetics and merchandising strategies across channels, drive sales and achieve KPI targets, and stay current on design trends to best meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to design spaces and communicate design concepts clearly.
• Experience engaging with customers to sell design services.
• Proficiency with 2D/3D design tools and floor planning.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and provide a differentiated experience through elevated design offerings in-store, at customers' homes, and virtually.
• Create CB2 designs using moodboards, 2D floor plans, product lists and style inspiration.
• Lead One on One Design consultations in person or via email, phone, and virtual design consults; deliver projects timely.
• Understand CB2 brand aesthetics and merchandising strategy by channel (Store, Online, Catalog).
• Meet sales, KPI, and service goals; engage customers using CB2 selling steps.
• Stay informed about market trends and industry updates.
• Explain loyalty services (Design Trade Program, CB2 credit card, gift registry) to customers.
• Model excellent service with positive attitude and efficiency.
